varieties are: 'Alleppey Finger' and 'Erode turmeric' (from Tamil
Nadu),
'Rajapore' and 'Sangli turmeric' (from Maharashtra) and 'Nizamabad
Bulb'
(from Andhra Pradesh). India also exports turmeric in powder form
and as oleoresin.
